What’s A Bridal Portrait Session
A bridal portrait session is a tradition that started in the South as a way to seize the moment in time. These elegant sessions quickly became a popular way for brides to capture their bridal experience. It’s a special photo shoot with solo images of the bride in her wedding attire. We love bridal sessions and think they are a wonderful way to fully embrace your bridal experience.
Best Time For A Bridal Photo Shoot
The best time for a bridal photo shoot varies. These sessions are normally done 4-8 weeks before your wedding date. But can be done at least two to three weeks before your wedding. When planning keep in mind alterations and cleanings. A good rule of thumb is that you’ll want to schedule your session after alterations have been made and far enough in advance for your dress to be cleaned and altered if needed.
Often brides will want to have their florist create a bouquet and hire their makeup artist for another trial run to make these photos even more special but this is totally optional.
The location depends on your style and is often similar to the style of your wedding day. Your photo shoot can be photographed at your wedding venue or a favorite location.
