We like to think of this as a great way to get to know your photographer before committing to having them as your photographer on one of the most important days of your life. This is done before signing the contract in order to make sure we’re a good fit. Not only do you want to love their style, but you will also want to make sure you love having them around. After all, they will be spending almost an entire day with you, your family, and your friends.

We’ve put together a few questions that we believe will help you as you search for your wedding photographer while also learning everything you need to know.

  1. Is our wedding date available?
  2. Will you have an assistant or second shooter with you that day?
  3. Will you be photographing any other weddings that weekend or close to our wedding date?
  4. Will you be the one shooting my wedding? If not, can I meet the photographer who will be?
  5. When did you start doing wedding photography?
