Snow was in the forecast and I was surprised when it started snowing the night before their session. They were little snow flurries so no big deal. I was thinking that I was going to have to book a studio for their photos but the sun came out and everything worked out great!
It was cold but warmer than the day before because the sun was shining bright but still cold enough for gloves and a jacket. We recently went on a 20-year vowel renewal/family vacation with the Smith family to San Juan Puerto earlier this year because we’re family. My husband’s cousin is married to Cymone’s (Brittinni’s husband) cousin.

Brittinni and Cymone told me on vacation they were wanting to have family pictures done. They followed through, reached out to me—and we made it happen.
It was a privilege to capture their sweet family in this season. I’m shifting my focus more toward wedding photography but I love that fall mini-sessions allow me to connect with families, and serve past and new clients. The opportunity to book family sessions is available all year round but really popular during the fall.
Brittinni color coordinated the perfect colors for their outfits. They are a photogenic family and organically posed themselves during their session at times and I LOVED it. It was fun to see how they worked together as a family allowing us to capture beautiful candid photos.
Something that Brittinni and her family want to remember in this season of their life is to not take people for granted. I think this is something good to remember as we approach the holiday season and we’re able to spend time with family and friends while making new memories. They enjoy taking their daughter Cyanni to play. She went directly to the playground to slide as soon as we were done with their session and it was perfect. Enjoy my favorites from this sweet family session!
