Wedding Photographer in Dallas
When people come into your life and are the biggest blessing. When you least expect it, or when you didn’t even know you needed them and the value they bring into your life. It is the best feeling. I love when that happens.
Mixed with life’s challenges it was a busy couple of weeks preparing for this day. I felt as ready as I could be. I started the day at 5 AM, enjoyed my iced coffee, got dressed, loaded up my car, and headed to The Black Oak in Sulphur Springs for their Winter Open House Event.
While I was driving it started to rain, so that was fun but not so fun. Here are my thoughts about that, 1. I love when it rains 2. It just puts me at ease BUT 3. It’s not the best for my hair and considering my outfit choice, it wasn’t the best for that either. I wore black bell-bottom pants that ended up soaking wet up past my ankles. 🙃 So, that was fun. Note to self: Plan outfits better. Got it!
But here’s the most important part about this day…
The Black Oak Winter Open House Event
Working at The Black Oak is always fun because the owners are just amazing. They welcome you with open arms and just have this way of making you feel good.
ason, Kelly, Kyle, and Sam thank you for this fantastic opportunity that has created positive experiences for my business, and other business owners and their businesses. I’m grateful for your support and continued efforts to foster a positive environment for creatives, couples, and anyone interested in hosting an event at your beautiful Dallas wedding venue. You guys genuinely care, and it shows through your actions. Thank you!!
I especially love the community aspect of events like this. It’s nice to see people in the creative industry who are passionate about their work and helping others grow and be successful. Our strengths could be someone else’s weaknesses, but if we work together we can help each other.
I’m grateful for the amazing couples, and families that I had the pleasure of meeting at this year’s wonderful event. Some of you have already booked me as your wedding photographer, and I’m SO excited to work with you and celebrate alongside you, your families, and your friends on your special day.
It just keeps getting better.
We love how everything turned out for our vendor booth. We have another event coming up in March, with Road Map to The Altar Expo.
You can grab your ticket by clicking: HERE !! We’re excited about continuously making improvements, and meeting new creative friends. Hopefully, we’ll see you there!
Last, but certainly not least, there were amazing vendors at this event. I’m thankful for the connections made and looking forward to seeing you all again as we serve in this creative space.
Enjoy a few of my favorite pictures from the day.

We ran out of cookies, business cards, and wedding guides because the turnout was AMAZING!! We’ll be busy restocking before our next event!
I know, there’s no $ sign but it didn’t come with one, haha! I’m going to find one for next time. lol
